The Biermans Cottage Company - Wasaga Beach Cottage Rentals — Hotel in Wasaga Beach

We had a group of 8 staying in cottage #3 and we had a really really great time staying here. Sure, it's not a luxury accommodation but for the price between 8 people, some of whom must be willing to share beds, it is a crazy good deal in a great location!

Pros: -2 minute walk to a really nice area of the beach -working BBQ -outside space with picnic tables + firepit -surprisingly good water pressure! -good amount of amenities provided for cooking/maintenance -easy check in + out -2 car parking -some of the beds were decently comfortable -WiFi was pretty quick for us -inside the cabin we couldn't really hear the other residents and they made no noise complaints about us -water temperature was able to keep up with 8 people showering -all amenities were working

Cons: -a lot of the beds were not very comfortable, the pull out couch being the number one culprit. If the mattress was replaced, or even padded with some egg crate foam then a mattress pad, it wouldn't be as intolerable. I would highly recommend bringing something for cushioning unless Tal fixes it. When we were in communication he seemed pretty open to any constructive criticism so I wouldn't be surprised if after reading this review something was done. Otherwise the bunk beds are your standard bunk bed/loft situations so the bottom ones tend to be pretty good but the top ones were, well, top bunk beds haha.

-as silly as this is, I did wish there was a better broom. it would have made cleaning go twice as fast since the one there is tiny and sand gets into the cabin pretty easily.

Overall we had a great stay there and I would highly recommend it to folks on a budget. We weren't crazy partiers with loud music until the wee hours of the night, but we did have the space to have a couple (canned, not glass!) drinks without disturbing any...

Stayed at Talbot’s other cabin rental. Ran into many serious problems with him and his place. Toilet didnt work Barbeque didnt work Garbage all over property Unfinished bed frame outside cabin Mop bucket outside cabin Bunch of tools on picnic bench outside cabin Wet paint on walls Fire pit not in working condition Says pet friendly then tries to charge you extra Cabins smell of mold and mildew Hot water heater was exposed Didn’t receive keys to cabin

After being at this property for two hours I asked for a refund and gave my reasoning. Host Talbot for offensive and denied while his girlfriend screaming profanities at us from the next cabin over. I have photos and videos of everything listed above. This is not a place you want to take your family, partner or animals too. Owner Tablot is not friendly and does not know how to be professional. I give this less then a one star. Stay away, better off staying at a cheap a motel. The positive reviews he does have are from the previous owners last...

Stayed in one of the cabins this past weekend and it was a awful experience. We arrived at 3pm (which is the time we got told to check in) and when arriving the cottage hadn’t been cleaned and was left absolutely disgusting. Dirty dishes in the sink, mouldy food in the appliances, dirty towels on the floor, and much more. After spending 70$ on cleaning supply’s to start cleaning, the cleaners finally showed up and delayed our check in until around 5pm… not only was it an awful experience but the owner was nothing but rude. After sending picture proof of all of the mess he proceeded to offer us “compensation” which included us driving to his main location for firewood. Which only made matters worse because why would we want to drive to HIM with OUR gas to get firewood.. no one stay here unless you love cleaning or arguing with...
