Definately more for young families with kids and not the best for adults. As an adult couple trying to relax, there were WAY too many children running around our campsite and playing by our tent. No smoking is permitted (cigarettes, cannabis, or even vapes). Very loud due to the amount of children and hard to relax until it became dark. The campground is dog friendly, but dogs need to be on leash at all times. Our campsite was all gravel (not very cozy for the dog) and very small. HOWEVER, there are nicer sites and if you're a family with younger kids this is a GREAT spot for you! Huge field to play, playground, beach for swimming, showers, everything.

I had a fantastic experience at this campground! The grounds offer ample shade, convenient beach access, and a range of campsites - some more secluded than others. Our spot was ideally located near the beach and offered peaceful surroundings. The facilities were well-maintained, with free showers and clean restrooms. The park rangers were friendly and convenient, even selling firewood on-site. A nice touch was the campground's book exchange program, where I discovered some great Stephen King novels. Overall, I highly recommend this campground for its natural beauty, amenities, and welcoming atmosphere

We’ve stayed at Brear Creek Provinicial Park Campground on Wednesday, July 03, 2024, at the beginning of our roadtrip of West-Canada. Beautifull campsite with friendly staff. They let us feel at home right from the start. There is more than enough shade and the campground is well maintained. We even saw a deer in a couple of meters of our RV.

The view was great and the staff was really friendly, especially Mike. Unfortunately, we ended up getting one of the only fire pits without air holes, meaning we barely managed to get a fire which was mostly smoke… Also the the women’s showers were cold, to the point where the kids in the booth next to me were screaming and crying. According to my boyfriend , the men’s showers appeared to be fine. The women’s washroom were also not clean at all, even during the weekend when most people had left. I have been to many campground in the similar price range that offer so much more for the money, as we had no electricity, no wifi and no water on the site. The water on the campground also came with an advisory to boil for 2 minutes, which is no problem. It was, however, so yellow even after boiling that we used as little as we had to. Even if whatever stained the water so strongly is safe, there should have been a note to let campers know. I will definitely not...

• Nice quiet campground. • Lots of trees and shade. • Staff are awesome. • Reservations are a must, long in advance. • We stayed 5 nights, I had to move 3 times, and I booked more than 6 weeks out for September. • Site 67 – lots of room, shade, level has 30 amp, no sewer or water. Poor cell coverage. • Site 116 – Level, lots of room, shade, no power. Excellent cell coverage. • Site 62 – Level, lots of room, some shade, 30 amp, no sewer or water. Decent cell coverage.

• Some sites have power, very few have water, and none have sewer, and the sani dump has been out of service all season. • There are showers, several buildings, you can not control the temp, the main building the water is cold, the building near site 116 the water is scalding hot. • I would rather a pay shower where I can control the temp than...

Campground was great. Free showers, spacious sites, paved roads for the kids bikes. Access to sani station and hiking trail across highway was terrible and extremely dangerous. We almost got hit by a sports car driving out one day and our dog almost got hit by a truck flying by while we were trying to cross highway to get to hike. There is a bend in highway just before entrance to campground and the traffic is not going at the posted 60 kms. They need a flashing crosswalk and a 30 km zone or someone is going to get killed on that highway. Sani station has one dumping station and room for 3 trailers to be in area so you are forced to park on highway to wait. Again I would go back for the campground but it would be nice to see something done about the...
