Rooms are old BUT VERY CLEAN! You have to figure out when the hot water is running, because if you don't you're bound to cold water. The reception doesn't speak English well, better use translate app. They offer shuttle to Praia airport and back, it was 4000CVE (40€) for one way, it's very hard to go on any tours from here, because no-one picks you up from here, you have to go to Praia on your own first... Read moreWe didn't stay at this hotel, but we stayed in the village in family house and visited this place many times during our stay in Santiago. It's a small town that is not tourist friendly yet. The food was okay, but unfortunalty the chicken was not well coocked. So be carefull with eating meat and food and this restaurant. The staff was very friendly. The beach is black and nice, but rough and sometimes very dirty with trash. The village needs to be updated and made suitable for tourism. I believe that with time things will be better.
