The property is big. The room is super big with a large balcony, I think it was the biggest I had during my entire trip. I had a nice view of the ocean and the little plantation for the restaurant. The room was clean and the breakfast was really good, same for the meals.
The hotel needs a bit of renovation in the common areas and the rooms. There is not to many things to do in the nearby town so I stayed mainly in the hotel. I chatted with the staff before going to know how to get to the hotel from the port. I had to leave early on my departure date to take the boat to Maio so I align to have a taxi pick up from the hotel arranged by them. However, at the time of the pick up no taxi and no staff available. I almost miss my boat as the taxi fell asleep and only arrived 1h later after a security guard got a hold of him. Then they finally came over after 5 minutes of waiting only to walk away again. The other waiter came over and walked away to get a me u only to dis over that I was already reading one (before he left the first time). Its a pity the service here is so poor because the location is superb! Someone needs to take over! I ended up walking out to go 45 mins away to Pensão Benfica in Praia where the service is eons beyond this place.
If you find yourself in the area you have a better chance with one of the locals onthe side of the street...

The food was very tasty, and we waiter deserves a medal, he was one of the nicest people we met on the island. He didn't speak any English but luckily he spoke French so we managed just fine, the view was also amazing. The town itself can use some love, but if you pass by and need a place to sleep and have dinner Falucho restaurant and the hotel would be...
