Unfortunately Casa de France tried to make a nice remote charming eco resort. To some extent they succeeded. The lobby and small restaurant as well as the large rooms are simple but charming. And they have filled the place quite some nice things for kids to play. ||But that’s about it. The hotel doesn’t offer anything but an isolated and non-prepared experience. The premises are abandoned, and the place is horribly isolated in the middle of the black sand poor nature, about a km from the main road over a sandy path. Also the payment with credit card, which is not yet available||||Friendly relationship with the owner and the car-driver, we will recommend this to anyone travelling to this...
Read moreWhile searching for accommodation on Santo Antão we stumbled upon this little piece of paradise and our visit turned out to go way beyond imagination. This is where ‘No Stress’ (that everybody in Cape Verde seems to preach) really comes to life. Such a nice place, with a beautiful garden, along an empty lava beach. Our kids loved playing and exploring the surroundings of this lovely accommodation. The room itself was nicely decorated with great care for details. And the staff was super nice...they work hard to make you feel at home and really care about their guests. We’ll miss the beautiful breakfast, the great atmosphere and will always remember the day trips we took, the fun we had as a family and Silvo’s warm smile. Thanks for...
