This is a very nice place located on the beach. It has stunning views for sunsets and the service is really great: quick & friendly. We went for dinner and had pasta and a snack before. All were very delicious. The chef is an Italian lady and you could taste the passion for cooking. Prices are also really good, especially compared to the quality of food and large portions you get. Strongly recommend it.

Un gioiello appena fuori dal centro su una spiaggia isolata bellissima. Che dire, una cucina italiana fenomenale, con ingredienti di prima qualità, ha solo cose fresche e se non vi serve qualcosa è perché non lo ha fresco. Selezione di formaggi squisita, seppie con piselli gustosissima e di qualità...ma preparatevi per la CARBONARA!! Guanciale fatto in casa, grana padano...vino italiano ottimo. Anche cucina locale. Location migliore di tutto Porto Novo, NON CERCATE ALTRO!! Prezzo contenutissimo!

I'm referring to the New Morabeza Beach Club. We ate there twice. The pasta is delicious (Italians might complain, it is not al dente. For all others, who don't like to chew hardly cooked noodles, it was just perfect to the point). The second time I had the fish of the day and it was extraordinary! As we couldn't decide for a side dish, we got literally everything: potatos, yams maniok mash, tomato salad, onions, olives and the lot. Actually it is not like being in a restaurant, it is more like being guest at someone's home, who is cooking very well. This is true literally - ask Taty, who is running the place. So, if you like to eat good foot in Porto Novo, Santo Antão, take a taxi to Morabeza Beachclub, walk 15min westward on the beach. If you stay at Cap Azul, you'll probably end here anyway, not...

Wir waren gestern dort und können diesen "Beach Club" auf keinen Fall empfehlen.

Wir wollten Getränke und Pommes bestellen. Cola war leer. Limoncello war leer. Die Pommes wurden in kaltes Öl (!) getan und über 40 Minuten in diesem gekocht. Mit frittieren hatte es nichts zu tun. Nachdem die Pommes (sehr kleine Portionen und für die Kapverden zu teuer mit knapp 4€, auch wenn diese gut wären) endlich bei uns ankamen waren diese natürlich nach 40 Minuten Kochzeit voller Öl gesaugt. Als ich dies bei der Besitzerin ansprach wurde mir gesagt, dass das Öl frisch ist. Sie wusste ganz genau, dass ich das nicht meinte. Ich erzählte ihr, dass ich gesehen habe, dass die die Pommes über 40 Minuten im Öl kochen ließen und diese dadurch im Inneren komplett voller Öl sind. Sie holte ihren Vater, der unfreundlich abgewunken hat.

Nach einigen Diskussionen erzählte ich, dass ich die Pommes definitiv nicht möchte, da diese nicht essbar sind und sie wusste das ganz genau. Dennoch waren alle unfreundlich zu uns.

Es gibt nichts positives über den Laden...
