Before we arrived, we wondered why a B&B that's not exactly in Chile's biggest tourist area would cost so much per night.||Now we think it's way too cheap!||Family Orchard Bed & Breakfast is indeed only a bit fancier than what you'd imagine Paradise to be. But it's also more than enough.||You drive from the boring highway through a gigantic fruit plantation, and then you arrive at the well-shielded building that houses the guest rooms. The hosts live in another house.||The rooms are nicely decorated with the best materials, plush towels and toiletries, good wifi - and a lovely common living room where you can make yourself a cup of coffee and buy some drinks and chips.||Outside, there are large lawns where we sunbathed, garden furniture, small pools to sit in, birds chirping.||The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, although not memorable. Why isn't there fresh fruit from the plantation, but watermelon from elsewhere?||The only snake in paradise (but there has to be one) is that our ground-floor room was somewhat plagued by heavy footsteps in the room above.
