Every once in a while you stumble upon a property that just amazes you. Well Hotel Boutique BC Wine Casablanca did just that. In my opinion, everything written regarding this property, almost all positive, doesn’t fully capture just how wonderful this place really is. The property is conveniently situated amongst the many wineries in the area. These are all within a short drive so you can do amazing day-trips. Also, the famed city of Valparaiso is less than an hour away. |The property itself is immaculate. Everything is clean and the lush gardens are groomed to perfection. The rooms are spotless and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless and quite large. Also, you could not hear any noise from the adjoining rooms which is very important if noise distracts you. The rooms are also situated amongst large parcels of grape vines so you feel like you are staying right in an actual vineyard. When we opened our sliders in our room each morning, we were about two meters from the perfectly aligned rows of grape vines which were followed by a beautiful picturesque view of the rolling hills of Casablanca. This was quite a view and a great way to start the day. |The food served by their restaurant was high quality. Breakfast is prepared by well trained chefs and was exceptional. There were fresh breads, meats and cheeses, fruit, and eggs cooked to order, all presented at tables overlooking the pool and all the beautiful gardens. The dinners and lunches were very tasty and well presented. The staff was amazing; especially the restaurant crew. The servers, and the head chef, did everything they could to make sure our culinary desires were met. I cannot say enough about how good and how professional these people were. They did not let us down. |Lastly, I want to mention the owners Rod and Marlene. They greeted us the moment we arrived like we were visiting an old friend’s home. They were there for us the entire time and Rod give us many suggestions to explore in the area. All were spot on. They could not have been nicer. I would stay here many more times and hope to do so in the future. Just book your room and enjoy...
Read moreOur experience at Hotel Boutique Lagunillas in Casablanca was truly boutique from the very beginning. Despite booking last minute, the team was incredibly attentive to our needs — reaching out to coordinate our arrival time, room preferences, and even making a dinner reservation for us since we’d be arriving late.
At check-in, Javiera carefully planned our 2-day stay, offering local recommendations (restaurants, tours...) and arranging access to the sauna and hot tubs. These, by the way, are a delight at night — and starting the morning with a sauna session after working out was fantastic. Swimming in their heated pool was lovely too — the red tiles make you feel as if you’re floating inside a glass of red wine.
The rooms are rustic but have everything essential. One tip: bring your own body lotion, as it wasn’t provided and my skin feels a bit dry with the cold weather.
The included breakfast was abundant and fresh: seasonal fruit, eggs made to order, a bread and seed bar, yogurt, and coffee or tea (many options) available for self-service throughout the day — a thoughtful detail I really appreciated.
The next day, Marlene helped us book a gastronomic experience at Taninos restaurant (20 min driving from the hotel). And Mónica, from housekeeping, was wonderfully attentive during our entire stay.
In short, a warm, relaxing, and personalized experience in the heart of Casablanca — perfect for disconnecting and enjoying wine, nature, and truly human hospitality. PD: they have a warmly and lovely living area with sofas to read or play...
Read moreOur experience here was simply great. We had to come here on very short notice as the owners of Hotel Casavino tried to charge us 50% more than what we had booked, by canceling our reservation on short notice. We arrived late in the evening and the owner himself welcomed us and checked us in. He was absolutely friendly and nice. During our 2.5 days there we realized that the entire staff had that same attitude towards service. They are not only friendly and super helpful, they are also walking the extra mile to make you comfortable. One example is that after closing the restaurant they let us sit in their living room to finish out bottle of wine, giving us a cheese and snacks plate on the house and just asked us to ' please just turn of the lights and music when you go'. It felt like we were at home. Apart from that family-like atmosphere the hotel's facilities were just amazing. Pools inside and outside, sauna, old-fashioned hot tub, beautiful old houses turned into a hotel and a good restaurant with great local wine. The waiters and waitresses, the chef, the reception, the owner... everyone was just really great. I just want to thank everyone there for a wonderful stay! We would come back without thinking twice. We had a bit of bad luck with the rainy weather, but even that wasn't really a problem in this cozy place that has all the right facilities even for a rainy day. We enjoyed the spa and had nice local wine or coffee and tea feeling comfortable and almost like at home. Thanks and all the best to...
