Wow!!! Trying to explain what it was like for my wife and I to stay in this magical place is very difficult to do. It is without hesitation a place that I would recommend with eyes closed to all those who want to live an unforgettable experience in the northern insular Patagonia, staying in a hotel that in every detail shows the culture and history of Chiloe, through a harmonic, simple and sober architectural proposal. This place is a permanent invitation to contemplate one of the most beautiful landscapes in Chile. It is an invitation to reconnect with nature and use its spaces to rest, generate happy experiences and take advantage of its central location on the island to explore it. Notwithstanding the above, none of this would be memorable without the staff that crews it with a high sense of belonging, affection and pride and the imprint that Monica and Rodrigo (the owners) have transferred to the soul of this hotel. The excellent service and memorable experience is mainly allowed by a team committed to the hotel and the sum of details that day by day are surprising those who stay here. Everything is easy to organize for those who stay in this luxurious and simple hotel. Everything is easy to experience for those who let themselves be guided by the experienced and loving recommendation and coordination that the hotel team gives to its guests. The self-guided trail, the views from the top of the island towards the meadows and the Chiloe sea, the well-designed spaces, the wonderful decoration, the delicious food, the good wine and the access to incredible external services very well chosen by the hotel, allow you to experience Chiloe in a unique way. Cuatro días y tres noches vivimos dentro de un cuadro precioso. De verdad. Esta experiencia ha sido lo más cercano a sentirme protagonista de una magnífica obra de arte. Este hotel está diseñado por arquitectos locales, entiendo premiados, y está inserto en el entorno de manera perfecta. La zona común de comedor y estar es vidriada por ambos lados. Entonces, la luz está siempre, siempre presente. Al mirar hacia Chonchi, se ve el mar, islas, embarcaciones. Y con un poco de suerte, arco iris que casi se pudieran tocar. En nuestra primera mañana vimos uno, maravilloso. El dueño me contó que son comunes los arco iris ahí. Y que una vez presenció uno triple. Yo le dije que promoviera el lugar como Reino Arcoiris. Las habitaciones también miran hacia Chonchi. Es una vista fuera de lo común, muy fuera de lo común. Porque estás en altura con respecto al mar y eso te permite ver muy lejos, y muy claro, porque además el aire en esa zona es tremendamente limpio; por las lluvias, por los vientos y por el mar. Incluso la ducha es con vista a ese fiordo, una delicia. Tienes ahí tu cuadro privado en cada habitación. Con paisaje verde, mar y cielo, con diversidad de nubes. Volvería mil veces. La cama es de primera calidad. Firme pero suave, permite un descanso soñado. Buenas almohadas y plumón. La calefacción eléctrica, uno escoge la temperatura. Funciona de maravilla. El baño amplio y cómodo. Pero tal vez, aparte de la vista, lo que más asombra es el equilibrio del diseño. No hay nada de más ni nada de menos. Esto es como si lo hubiera diseñado un artista reconocido, japonés. Amos del detalle. Y del equilibrio.

El servicio del hotel, la verdad es que nada me faltó, nunca. Pedimos desayuno de ciertas características, y ahí estaba, perfecto, a la hora convenida. La limpieza, estupenda. Todo impecablemente mantenido. La estufa a leña del espacio común, de combustión lenta, prendida cada vez que dimos uso a esa área.

Todos muy amables, muy atentos, contentos de informar y permitirnos disfrutar una estadía ideal.

En el quincho disfrutamos de un delicioso lomo a la parrilla; yo pensé que iba a hacer más frío, pero no, en agosto se puede disfrutar Chiloé perfectamente, más aún si uno busca estar alejado de los choclones de gente que viene en temporada alta. Para nosotros fue un acierto haber venido en temporada baja.

El hotel tiene una cava única. Es como estar dentro de un enorme barril, con techo vidriado, y muros llenos de botellas, ordenadas geográficamente. Vinos y espumantes de todos los rincones del país. También una gran variedad de cervezas. Esa es una experiencia aparte.

Los dueños, involucrados al cien por ciento en tu experiencia. Quieren darte lo mejor de lo mejor. Y vaya que lo logran.

Absolutely stunning location and design. Although a way from Castro, this hidden gem is worth the effort to reach. The views, amenities and services provided are the highest level. Do recommend scheduling dinner to be delivered and served in their dining area, rather than making the trek. It felt like we had a private chef. Also, enjoyed the wine.

Gorgeous interior, warm and thoughtful. Every little detail makes you really feel like you're at home. Wifi was great. Breakfast was delicious. Showers, incredible. Dogs, super cute. Love love love this place. My only recommendation would be to have someone on staff who can speak a bit of English, for my sake. Hope to...
