Hospitable owner using WhatsApp +56 9 6290 5302. A couple of friendly dogs hang about the place waiting to be massaged and patted. The nearest grocery shop is a four-minute walk away, and the grocery shop is open until 22:00 or 23:00, much later than a larger supermarket Edon up the road which closes at 20:00. This "hospedaje" functions more like a hostel than a guest house: 4 or 5 rooms, some rooms with bunk beds for three people in a room, 2 shared baths, a common modest kitchen, and courteous owner, Javier, who lives in an adjacent dwelling. Checked out about 10 places before choosing this one. 11mil/person for two shared bathrooms and kitchen. Hosts were reasonably friendly. Everything was very clean. Kitchen dishes are well supplied. A simple but perfectly adequate little place on the edge of Chaitén. The rooms are small but clean. Good showers. |There also is a nice common area with cooking facilities and a TV. Comfortable sofa to sit and read. Good Wifi.|All in all good...
