Puerto Cisnes is a convenient and pleasant stop, just off the Carretera Austral, to shorten the travel and allow some time for activities along the way.||The small timber building hostel lies on the boulevard with a view of some small fishing boats in the bay. Street parking right in front.||Personnel is very friendly and accommodating. Free wifi available.||||We had a small room on the ground floor (9 m2) with a bathroom 3 m2. Actually one of the smallest during our tour in Chile. As with all timber buildings, you can hear the upstairs guests walking about.||||Although many guests stayed until late in the dining area, we did not hear them.||As with most hotels in Chile, no complimentary coffee or tea or drinking water.||||The dinner was special with local dishes made with abalone.
