Hostal Mi Segundo Hogar — Hotel in Concepcion

We got there walking, no trouble for us, but it's far away from downtown. No attractions on a walking distance from the so called hostel. Once we entered the hostel we went to the second floor and waited for the check-in, one of the employees approached to us to check us in... with a notebook in her hands... which was the check-in record they had, I was stunned they did not had a front desk or a proper reception at all, because at that moment I still thought it was a hostel. The check-in was made in the kitchen.We got a room for couples and once we entered the room I noticed it had mold on the ceiling, the cortains were very thin, the hallway was narrow as it can get and the whole place vibe was weird. Breakfast is not a breakfast, they give you bread and some other things the afternoon - night before so you can have them in the morning. After some minutes we decided to cancel our stay there and asked the employee if we could get a refund which was granted to us with the totality of the amount payed (cash). They charge good hostel price, but they are not a hostel whatsoever.||Not...

Era clienta asidua de esta hostal pero lamentablemente la recepcionista ( la cual no quiso identificarse) que estaba en el turno de hoy, siendo las 11 de la noche del día 26 de enero, me trató pésimo desde que ingresé al lugar. Cuando saludé y comenté que tenía mi reserva lista, me hizo esperar 20 minutos mientras ella veía videos en su celular. Me pidió mi cédula de mala forma la cual no tenía en físico pero sí en fotos al igual que mi pasaporte. Esto hizo que comenzara a tratarme de la peor forma posible, le indiqué que ya me había quedado antes y esto hizo que ella en tono burlesco y creyéndose la dueña me contestara en un tono totalmente fuera de respeto. Incluso le comenté si era posible que por la mañana me trajeran mi pasaporte a primera hora y también se negó. Entiendo los protocolos y no tengo problema con esperar, pero no voy a permitir que me falten el respeto o me atiendan pésimo cuando siempre he pagado como corresponde el servicio. Estas situaciones lamentablemente lo único que generan es que uno JAMÁS...

No lo recomiendo. Si vienen pidan habitaciones en el tercer piso de lo contrario sentirán cómo un terremoto cuando la gente del piso de arriba simplemente se levante de la cama.

El equipo de trabajo no tiene empatía ni respeto por el huésped, se entiende que durante el día tengan que hacer labores de limpieza pero se comunican a gritos sin pensar que algunos huéspedes, como en mi caso, descansamos durante el día. Una trabajadora me colgó el teléfono de forma poco educada tras llamar para hacer una consulta sobre el sitio (ya estando allí) resolví yendo a recepción, donde había una chica bastante amable que es la excepcion a lo que comento.

En cuanto a limpieza se ve todo limpio pero en la cama no se si había algún bicho pero me comenzó una picazón terrible; por otro lado, en la habitación para encender la calefacción hay que pasar el cable por la puerta del baño haciendo que no se pueda...
