Stayed here for 3 nights in February 2017, as part of a group. The hotel consists of a main lodge, and approximately 20 small cabins. The cabins are clean and comfortable, but fairly small. Each cabin overlooks the Pacific Ocean and a black sand beach. There is free Wi-Fi in the main lodge, but none in the cabins. People would congregate in the lodge to talk and use the Wi-Fi.||The ocean is cold and the surf is fairly heavy, making swimming a challenge. The hotel does have a sheltered swimming pool. ||Breakfast is included. The hotel has a good restaurant. The next closest restaurants are in the town of Constitution about 2 miles away.||The staff did not keep accurate records of what people were ordering for lunch or dinner. When you checked out, you had to try to remember what you had, so a bill could be prepared. It was cash only on check-out – no credit cards...

The rooms/cabanas are simple, comfortable and clean. You are right on the ocean with an amazing view and the steady roar of the surf in the background. There is a beautiful pool with lots of space to lounge. There's also decking available to enjoy the view and a drink. Wifi worked well in and around the main building/deck and pool. There are also a few+ friendly, mellow dogs to keep you company; loved it! ||This stretch of coast is especially beautiful and Playa le Cable is the perfect spot to...
Read moreWe just returned to Santiago after three days at Cabanas Playa el Cable and are already wondering how soon we can return there. The hospitality of the owners warm and helpful. Breakfast plentiful and delicious. A perfect place for a getaway, a base for exploring the coast and a good stopover on a journey further south. My husband and I are world travelers, he is Chilean and I am from New York and we both highly recommend Cabanas...
