Nuevo Hotel Constitucion — Hotel in Constitución

We arrived at Nuevo Hotel Constitucion tired and muddy after being stuck in our car overnight and walking out to catch a bus into town. We were welcomed by Cecilia at the door urging us not to worry about our muddy shoes - even though she had just finished sweeping the lobby area. The hotel is lovely, new and well maintained. Details are not overlooked. The rooms are large, comfortable and nicely decorated. The reasonable prices include a nice breakfast buffet. ||||The Administrator, Marcelo Moran, helped us communicate with our car rental agency in Spanish - to tow our car, as well as arranging for a very nice local resident named Rodolfo to drive us back to our car to retrieve our luggage. The staff helped us above and beyond any expectations. After hot showers we enjoyed an excellent dinner in their restaurant and then had a great nights sleep in our room. The hotel from outsides looks tiny and really, when inside I do not know how they are able to offer such spaces. There must be some relativity trick.||The room offer a comfortable space, it is also near to the center of the town and near to the beach, a walking distance (8 cuadras hasta la costa).||Breakfast is a common abundant flourishing array, but the best comes in the evening. The hotel restaurant is the best you will be able to get. Choose saviches, a typical seaside meal which you do not get anywhere else, also the selection of wines is offering the best tastes, and then the dinner price is quite reasonable. Partamos por la llegada: el estacionamiento está a la intemperie, en un barrial, llegando una noche de lluvia, se termina todo sucio, además, nada protege los vehículos contra las heladas y tener que lidiar con el hielo matutino no es gracia.|La recepción no es muy amena, pero ni siquiera entregan un tarjetero, sólo un post-it pegado en la tarjeta para indicar el número de habitación.|El arquitecto de este hotel, seguro es arquitecto de viviendas sociales, porque las habitaciones entra apenas una cama, los veladores y un mueble dónde está el frigobar y la televisión, conectada con un Deco Movistar que incluye lo básico. El baño no es malo, pero una mañana no calentó el agua, aunque la ducha la dejé corriendo un buen rato, al preguntar, me dijeron que no habían tenido problemas.|El desayuno es básico, algunos cereales, un poco de pan, jugos y los hervidores. No está listo a las 0715 como anuncian, por lo que recomiendo tomar las precauciones si tienen que trabajar temprano.
