Lodge Bahia Sol — Hotel in Coquimbo

Bahia Sol, is a fully-furnished apartel overlooking La Herradura. The owners, Stefano and Eliette, were able to maximize the space to include a complete kitchen, a comfortable queen size bed, toilet and shower, and a terrace with a spectacular view of the bay. The property is well-designed that you won't be able to see the guests in the other rooms. ||||Wi-fi is spotty (as warned when I made my reservation) because of the lodge location but the attentive owners and their charming son, allowed me to sit around their office to connect my devices. ||||Don't be deceived by its location pointed in Google, as Lodge Bahia was pindropped near the fish market. I took a couple of days of vacations with my family (3 kids and my wife) and I decided for La Herradura because is a very calm place to be in winter vacations, with good temperature and close to La Serena, an old and important city with many attractions. I'm just back from a 5 night stay at BahiaSol Lodge and it was absolutely fantastic! Located just south of La Serena, BahiaSol is very comfortable with well-appointed rooms. Even better, each room has an ocean-view and a good-sized terrace. There is also a pool and grill area if you want to cook along with a well-equipped kitchen in each room.
