Ñamku Lodge Chile — Hotel in Curacautín

I didn't actually end up staying at Namku Lodge, but I was motivated to write a review given the excellent service I received, leading up to my cancelled reservation. I learned of the lodge via the Lonely Planet guide. I reached out to them via email prior to making a reservation, as I would have been an almost-50 solo female vegetarian traveler without a car speaking only English, and wanted to be sure I was in good hands and could have balance of adventure and safety. Marian worked with me closely over a couple of weeks to plan a 3 night visit to the lodge in late March 2019. She arranged for my airport transport from and to Temuco, provided information on and booked several excursions based on my interests, and worked with me to arrange an itinerary with meals that would have been a perfect stay. Ultimately a death in the family prevented me from making that leg of my Chile trip. I hope I have another opportunity to visit the region, and will not hesitate to book my stay at Namku. We stayed 4 nights at this beautiful Lodge! ||The owner is a lovely couple that made its dream of a perfect little getaway reality. You can feel the love they put in every detail of the Lodge: from the rooms, the common area and the hot tub to the delicious high class food they prepare every day. ||||They offer a lot of activities (mountain biking, speedminton, skiing in winter and swimming in the river in summer etc.). Stayed here for 5 nights. What a wonderful experience. Cabin had everything you need, and the cool custom craftsmanship on display was impressive. Setting is beautiful and was easy to find.( i rented a car and drove up from Temuco.) I was there for skiing and we were super close to the Corrallco ski area.
