Parque Amavida / Cabañas y Restaurant Malalcahuello — Hotel in Curacautín

My husband and I have actually stayed at Wenu Mapu many times, I grew up close to Malalcahuello and now I live in New York City, but whenever we go to the south of Chile we stay here. The cabanas are really comfortable, the views are amazing and it's great for the winter and summer. The volcanos around are gorgeous and there are also so many rivers and lakes. ||This is a family owned business, they are there to take care of you every day, the food is amazing, truly authentic cuisine. Excellent what more can I say. We stayed in the "Mapuche" cabin. One big room with two wood burning stoves. Stayed with family of 4 and were treated like family. Our two young boys loved the open space to run and play, they also played in the creek that run through the property. Very clean and well kept. |No wifi in the rooms but we had 3G so didn't bother us. We spent a few days in this incredible "Ruka", or a modern version of the Mapuche home. It has all the commodities of a modern cottage but the kitchen and the two bathrooms are smartly hidden so that it feels that the home is one big room.
