La Llovizna — Hotel in Maipú

I felt really disrespected by the hostel owner’s adult son. He raised his voice at us in front of another guest who was eating when we asked if we could eat breakfast. The owner’s adult son denied us breakfast, despite it being included in the packet because he was in rage that he was awaken by his dog barking because we ordered Uber Eats after he had fallen asleep. However, we had arrived late and both him and his father suggested that we ordered Uber Eats since we hadn’t eaten dinner. I felt uncomfortable due to some of the conditions of this hostel. The bedsheets had hairs and a fingernail inside them as if they hadn’t been cleaned, so my partner and I had to sleep outside of the bedsheets with our own blanket that we traveled with. We felt a lack of security here because we were not given a key to our room or a safe place to lock our valuables. We didn’t receive a key to the main gate either so we felt that we could not leave to explore anything at night with a guarantee that we could get back in. A wonderful start to my adventure in Chile - the location is 10 minutes from the airport in taxi & costs £10. The place doesn't look so much from outside but inside is clean, warm, feels very peaceful and safe. The owner is a kind, caring, open man who made my first morning here feel very special as we shared breakfast and coffee and practiced me Spanish skills talking about life :) the perfect stop after a long flight to get here. I took a private room which was very reasonably priced & would recommend to all. Español - Un lugar maravilloso empezar mi aventura en chile. Es 10 minutos desde el aeropuerto y en un taxi sobre £10 libres. Desde afuera la puerta no es mucho a ver pero adentro es limpia, calor y siente con paz y seguridad. El dueño es amable y simpático. Desayunamos y tomamos café en la mañana y tuvimos café a mientras practicando mi español hablando sobre muchas cosas en la vida. Fue super bien y no es tan caro también :) me recomendó mucho.
