The hotel is located in an old Chilean house that is nicely renovated. The rooms are really big and clean. We loved the shower which is properly built (that's not always the case in Chile). The best part of the hotel is the pool area. From there you have a great view of the Andes and its great just to sit there, swim, have a drink and enjoy the view. The garden is very beautiful and decorated with a lot of flowers. Unfortunately we couldn't check out the restaurant because it's closed on Mondays. But there is a nice local place to eat nearby. We would definetly recommend the hotel which is off the beaten track but close to Santa Cruz and all the wineries...
Read moreThe place in nice, well reformed. Had some minor trouble with heating, which might be relevant considering the place is cold, but everything was fixed. You can tell there is concern in keeping the place as a local, nice, fine familiar place. It is not perfect but certainly clean, with a very nice bathroom (well refurnished), and good bed. The breakfast is fine as well, not abundant, the options are a bit limited (no eggs, for example), but you are not charge much for staying here, so as for all, I think you definitely receive good value...
Read moreThis place is definitely off the beaten path, so make sure you have directions prior. And it is so worth it. On the surface, it's a non-descript building that sits on the square in the tiny little town, and inside the gates, voila! The grounds are littered with farm animals, grapevines, gardens and a pool. The rooms are spacious and super comfy. The people who run it are very hospitable with answers to all our questions! My only regret is that I didn't have more time there!! ...
