We travel around around in Chile for 5 weeks and this place is one of the best affordable places, finally a discount for low season. Well situated at the end of a small and quiet road, lakeview, beautiful in the autumn. Very friendly staff, everybody, because we think it's a family business so you feel welcome and at home. No problem to stay downstairs, service when needed, fast wifi. Broad choice of food and drinks. It's such a relief besides all the idiotic, hysteric overpriced places in the area. Forget Huilo Huilo and try to visit the Nacional Reserve Mocho Choshuenco first or instead.|And yes, dogs are barking in the night now and then, but that's not unique for Chile, it's almost everywhere. It's less anoying after a good dinner (jalabí!) with great wines in the company of nice people! Great...
Read moreWe came here without reservation and got a room for 60$. It’s to much for what it is. |The room is ok, but the tv works with a room antenna! The internet doesn’t arrive even into the first room! Having a shower is a mix between cold water and getting burned. You can’t adjust it. |We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was nice even when not cheap. But breakfast the other morning was extremely basic probably with the rest of the bread from the dinner they didn’t use. Instant coffee even when took the water out from a Italian coffee machine!! But a real coffee would have been on extra charge.|They should be aware that the breakfast is a part of the room price and we payed for it the same as we payed the evening before for the dinner. So we should get the same bread and the same coffee. Not...
Read moreThe cabins are spacious and clean, the beds are fairly comfortable, but there must be 10 dogs nearby and they bark through the night - makes it incredibly hard to sleep. We left feeling very unrested.||The restaurant was nice and cozy, with average food. There appears to only be one English speaker there, and he wasn't around most of the time.||The hotel is the closest one of many to the beach, although it's not the best beach on the lake. We stayed there primarily because it's close to Huilo Huilo Park (highly recommended), and the hotels inside the park itself are...
