After getting jerked around by the bad service on the Huilo Huilo bioreserve website and by their equally bad customer service, I found this place on google maps. It is a great little hotel in Neltume in between the lodges at the reserve (Magic Mountain/Nothofagus/tree houses etc.) and the reserve front gate. You can rent various geodesic dome cabanas from 2 to 8 people. Our dome was OK the skylight leaked the first day in a torrential rain, but the manager was super nice and took care of it by moving the furniture and putting in lined buckets to avoid drip noise and the next day the repairman caulked the window. she also helped book a white water rafting trip in Choshuenco the next day. The domes are cozy, great for families with 2 twin beds above for the kids to watch the stars at night and a bathroom and bedroom below with privacy for adults plus a kitchenette. The price of $160 a night sure beat $410 a night at Nothofagus. Downside is Lorena the manager only speaks spanish if you cant write or speak it might be challenging for you plus you have to pay in cash with an advance by Western Union (no credit cards) also no internet connection, I was able to book rom outside Chile with no problems however. Neltume is a mostly cash operation except for the minimart in town and the reserve pizzeria and hotel restaurants and the nearest ATM is in Panguipuli 1h away so come prepared. Overall a great experience with easy access to all the adventure sports at the reserve, I would...
