We stayed here for two nights during La Tirana festival, which is about 40 km from Pica. The rooms are quite tiny and most of them sleep 3, although booking.com has them listed as doubles. Our room gave us access to a gender-differentiated shared bathrooms, which were so close by and clean as to be private bathrooms. Though it must be noted that the water was solar heated, so not hot. The hostel offers breakfast for $5 per person, but instead we used the well equipped kitchen to cook breakfast. This is a family-run affair and they brought us fresh oranges and mangoes each morning from their nearby parcela. The common areas here are spacious and comfortable. It is where you will want to hang out when not exploring the area. The family that runs the place is fun and congenial, great conversationalists and interesting people. ||||When we checked out there was a discrepancy about the price, as we had reserved the room through booking.com.
