Pichilemu Domos — Hotel in Pichilemu

Lots of positives but also lots to be improved.

The domes are unique in character and a good space for a small family. However, they are tired and in serious need of updating. There are no mattress or pillow protectors, so your sheet is the only thing protecting you from thousands of other guests germs and dirt. The sofas, sofa pillows and armchairs are so dirty. They should be replaced urgently with sofas with removable / washable covers. We had to put a duvet on the sofa as we couldn’t bear to sit on it. However, the duvet cover was covered in yellow stains.

There are not enough towels and they do not provide pool towels. They don’t even offer to sell or rent pool towels.

There is no comfortable seating on the veranda. A hammock would be a good idea.

There is an excessive use of heavy duty bleach. It took 2 days to get rid of the smell before the cleaners came and bleached everything.

On a positive note, the grounds are immaculate and well looked after. The pool is a lovely area, although many people not using towels so the loungers are very dirty.

My massage was one of the best I have ever had.

My fiancé and I needed to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city, so we decided to come back to Pichilemu. After spendings DAYS looking for a place to stay, we found Pichilemu Domos. We love staying at places with unique design/architecture, somewhere cozy, and with a killer view. Pichilemu Domos was all that we were looking for and more. The owner was very kind and available if needed. The design of these domos was inspirational and we will for sure incorporate some of the designs into our future home! We were so pleased with the size of the domo, and how much space. It comes with everything you would need and in addition has a cozy chimney inside. Un maravilloso lugar para pasar las vacaciones. Estuve una semana junto a mi familia y lo pasamos estupendo, el domo en sí es muy espacioso y luminoso, una cocina muy cómoda (en el aviso decía que solo encimera pero al menos aquí era cocina) y bien equipada. El lugar en sí muy amplio y adecuado para niños. A pesar que había mucha gente no se siente ruido de los otros domos. La piscina excelente, muy buena temperatura, una excelente alternativa cuando uno quiere relajarse un poco, mis niños la amaron. Antes de venir leí algunas quejas que la encontraron fría, a mi parecer siendo una piscina temperada de exterior estaba estupenda. Cómo ubicación está lejos del centro, es muy tranquilo y silencioso, tiene a pocos metros una bajada a la playa, que aunque no es apta para el baño, es un buen lugar para todo lo demás, tomar sol, que los niños jueguen con la arena, mojarse las patitas, o sencillamente sentarse a ver el mar. Hay dos lugares tipo strip Center muy cerca, en general son tiendas de comida gourmet o ropa y artículos de todo tipo, muy tipo galpon de Barrio Italia. Hay un minimarket que tiene desde lo mas básico más lo gourmet, todo lo necesario para hacer un asado, entre otros. Igual si uno camina un poco más hay más tiendas tipo panadería, minimarket, verdulería, etc Estamos a 5 min en auto de punta de lobos, 10-15 de Cahuil. Así que para mí fue una muy buena ubicación. La atención excelente, Nicolás fue muy amable durante nuestra estadía, nos dio algunos datos útiles, cuando tuvimos algún problema rápidamente se hizo cargo de ello. Aseo del domo todos los días, no tuvimos ninguna dificultad con ello. Algo importante que aunque para mí no fue problema es que el domo tiene muchas escaleras, por lo que no lo recomiendo si viajan con alguien con movilidad reducida. Es suma, lo recomiendo absolutamente, quedamos con ganas de volver, se siente que no es sólo un negocio, que está diseñado y atendido con gran preocupación para que la estadía sea lo más...
