I must say that I was short on time when I booked this hotel, so i didn't put much effort in my selection. There were 4 of us which made things a little tougher. Things started off poorly when we arrived in beautiful Pucon. When we first arrived and we flagged a cab, he was at a loss as to where this hotel was located. In such a small town, this was a little worrisome to say the least. We eventually found a cab that knew where the hotel was. First lesson I learned was to always note the address rather than the hotel name. ||The hotel is a rustic, lodge style hotel and is better suited to backpackers. It is 1.5 k away from the town center. ||The resident caretaker Carlos is a kind, courteous gentleman and was quite helpful.||The door of our room could be opened when locked, with a simple push and consequently we switched rooms as we were lucky there was a room to move to. There is no shampoo provided and no spare toilet paper to speak of. ||The breakfast that is provided was good and tasty, however it was the same every morning and for a stay of any length of time it would be certainly become monotonous! ||The hotel was clean.||Hot showers were very rare and short lived. If you enjoy cold showers, you are in luck.||I found the hotel much too expensive for what was provided, location, services, and amenities.||The pool was not open and the bedroom windows cannot be kept open, making for some rather warm nights. Read moreWe were here in the offseason and scored. Very comfy, very clean, and very nice. The location is just a bit out of the main town but still an easy walk. We had zero problems here and I assume they fixed anything that had been mentioned on here before. It's not a super fancy place so don't expect the ritz Carlton. There is plenty of food for breakfast and they even prepared us our own when we had to leave super early. Each room has a balcony too. Comfy clean and affordable, I...
