Me parece una absoluta falta de respeto que primero, mientas, en ningún momento levante la voz, sí estaba ofuscado y de forma entendible cuando la dirección es confusa y el uber me deja a 3 cuadras y vengo viajando con una mochila que pesa 20 kilos! Te expliqué, que hice la reserva desde el aeropuerto, porque así fue, a penas tuve tiempo de ver el mensaje porque es verdad, en vez de ser comprensivo de que uno viene cansado, viajando (en el correr de 2 días tomé un bus de 10 horas y dos vuelos) y tratar de generar otro ambiente, me trataste de mala manera desde el momento que me abriste la puerta, y justamente por eso te dije sin demasiada simpatía, que no había tenido tiempo de leer. Me da pena por tu padre porque me pareció una persona amable, vos un grosero que evidentemente poco entiende de cómo ser un buen anfitrión. Por lo del perro, me gustan los perros, no cuando, repito, vengo viajando 2 días sin parar con, repito, una mochila que pesa 20 kilos y tengo un perro grande saltandome encima. Me parece que tendrías que tener un poco de sentido común y empatía, hubiese sido muy fácil aliviar la tensión inicial, de hecho luego de lo ocurrido en todo momento me dirigí a ustedes con respeto y de buena manera. Y a propósito, no soy Argentino, eso es lo que pasa cuando uno asume cosas en vez de pensar y usar un mínimo de empatía.

A nice room/house is not enough. I’ve been traveling for about 2 months through South America and I had a one night stay in Santiago, so I chose this place to stay the night mainly because it was conveniently located and affordable. As expected, the room was simple but nice and more than enough for what you’re paying. The neighborhood is also very nice and feels like a safe and calm area.

So, where did it go wrong you may ask? THE VIBE; it felt super off, the guy that “welcomed” me, wasn’t exactly welcoming or even friendly, I actually felt a sense of lack of interest, almost as if he was doing me a favor. Also, while I like dogs, I didn’t expect to have a large dog jumping on me, while tired and clearly carrying heavy bags, ironically, the warmest welcome was by this dog. If you don’t like dogs or are afraid of them which some people are, this is not the place for you, as they don’t disclose this is clearly a house, people live in and have a pet (the large dog). The only other friendly person was an older man that smilingly gave me directions on where to eat around the area. The next morning, I came downstairs to see where breakfast was served as it’s included. When I did, I saw the man and a woman standing there with a plate and some food on it. I said good morning and she responded with the same lack of interest almost glancing at me as she passed by.

In conclusion: I felt so unwelcome in this place that I decided to skip the lunch (I paid for with the price) and head to the airport, I had rather seat for an extra hour there (the airport) than feel awkwardly unwelcome, almost like an intruder in someone’s home.
