Hostal Sol y Luna — Hotel in Pudahuel

The new hostel of David is a great choice for all who are looking for accommodation for quickly reaching the airport or who want to avoid the hectic centre. The biggest plus is the owner David, who makes you feel like home from the first minute, provides great service and gives the best recommendations. He really cares for his guests. But also the hostel itself is nice-looking and designed in a swiss style. It provides everything you need, plus a nice yard and a bar with free fruits, tea and coffee. The shared areas are not too large but probably enough for the number of rooms. The 3 of us friends stayed there for a night and our host Willi was very warm and welcoming to us. He greeted us with juice when we arrived. Rooms have no AC but we were given fans (not that you need it at night b/c it cools down quite a bit). Wifi worked well. Rooms and bathrooms were tidy and clean. We had to leave next morning at 3:30am and Willi woke up to make us coffee/tea before we left. Also booked a taxi for a reasonable price to the airport. Overall we had a pleasant stay. In my 5 month trip in South America this was my favourite hostal that I stayed in. The area is very chilled, and the hostal has a very relaxing outside space. David was amazing! Such a nice and welcoming person, I felt like I was at home. He provides water, fruit, a lovely breakfast and a coffee station.

I have an early flight ✈️ and David woke up to see me off with a packed breakfast. Just so lovely.

I came back again a week later in-between trips on Chile and will definitely come back....
