We stayed 2 weeks in the 2 bedroom cabin. We use it as a 'base station' to explore all the national parks, lakes and rivers nearby. We also travel a couple of days to Bariloche just a few miles across the border with Argentina. We alter two days of 'expeditions' and one day staying at the cabin, enjoying the beach like just meters away from the lodge.||The staff treat us extremely well and were a real help acting a concierge/travel guide for us. The were also very kind with our 4 year old kid.||As for the nearby 'attractions' it worth to pay a one day visit to 'Termas de Puyehue', visit the beaches in the northern edge of the lake, visit and walk the trails in 'Parque...

The family were friendly and the building looked very pretty with lovely lakeside views.||||We paid 15,000 for a guided kayak trip with the son, who was an affable biochemistry student. Read moreBeautiful setting on the lake - easy to walk down to the shore and take in the view of the snow-capped volcanoes. Rooms are modest and a bit small. Unfortunately we didn't sleep very well as the bed was not very comfortable and the thins walls meant we overheard our neighbors and folks coming up and down the stairs. The breakfast was fine and the staff was helpful and kind. There were many families with small kids staying happily here so that might be the best fit...
