Hotel San Enrique — Hotel in Salamanca

The Hotel is above the warehouse of a building supplies store. Saying that, it is quiet and we were not dsturbed in the slightest. The room in which we stayed was the Matriomonial one, so called as the Hotel has singles and twin rooms in the main. It was spacious, with a spotless bathroom attached. There was plenty of space for storage of clothes while we stayed there.||One question we have been asked was Why stay there? Our intention was to make the drive to Vicuna in stages as our flight and wait time between Perth, Sydney and Santiago is long. The rewards for staying there outweighed the purely practical. Our bed was so comfortable; we slept easily and well; the breakfast was absoluely outstanding, including delicious torte and a range of jams, fruit, juice, coffee, bread, ham and cheese. I have not mentioned the most important item- the family who run the establishment. they are just lovely! Google translate was used a lot and the daughter of the family translated for us, too. The Canadian exchange student was friendly, too. ||We enjoyed entertaining conversations and experienced an excellent stay in every way. No es malo de todo. El que cree que las tres estrellas de aquí corresponden a las de un hotel en Europa se quedará decepcionado. El mobiliario más o menos bien, pero con dos perchas en el armario nada más. El baño es... bueno, hay baño. Las habitaciones individuales que dan para la calle son bastante coquetas y con una terracita que siempre gusta. Las que dan para atrás no sé cómo son, pero la doble es horrorosa...!!! Tiene una ventanita de 30x60 pegada al techo y si se sube encima de la mesita de noche, descubrirá que tiene vistas hacia un almacén de construcción... está dentro de dicho almacén!!!El desayuno incluido en el precio está bastante bien, combinando salados y dulces. Tiene aparcamiento para 4 o 5 automóviles...

Excelente ubicación en época NO escolar, cómodo, personal atento. Muy fría sus habitaciones, si bien tienen calefacción, un buen detalle sería esperar a los pasajeros con la habitación calefaccionada. Faltan cortinas oscuras para aplacar la luz y el frio que entra por el ventanal. Costó que saliera el agua caliente en la ducha y las campanas del colegios fueron el despertador innecesario, peor fue escuchar la banda escolar que practicaba para el desfile.
