This place was amazing. It’s set in the countryside, with farms and vineyards, corn and horses. Rustic for sure, but if you want to experience Chile and an hacienda, this is the location. The rooms were antique, but the shower was good and the towels thick and new, mattress was fine too. We ate breakfast there both days - good selection of cereal/cheese/meat and eggs cooked fresh. We had dinner twice too, just two options but fresh Chilean cooking and great ceviche and flan. Staff were so friendly and even found us a mountain bike to go out on- thank you Jose! The pool is huge and very well maintained, great for the kids, and there was table tennis, fussball and a soccer pitch to hang out at. I was wary of booking this place as it seemed a bit off the beaten track but it was signed and easy to get to from the freeway and just an hour to Santa Cruz where we went for one day. Highly recommend this place if you want a slice of Chile. As a late addition to my note here, we left a jacket at the hotel and Jonathan went to extreme lengths to have it shipped to us in Santiago and make sure we got it back (at no cost). Great service from the Los Lingues staff, thank you all, we would...

Read moreOverall, this is an amazing place to stay and I would highly recommend it. Possibly the best place we have ever stayed. Staff (especially Antonio) were excellent, very warm and welcoming. They were very attentive and could not do too much. The owner came and saw us on our first night to check how we were getting on. The buildings and rooms are exceptional - very well decorated and full of interesting, historic articles. The hotel has some historic rooms available to view, including a lounge and chapel. We ate in the amazing dining room. The room was comfortable, clean and very spacious. It had plenty of storage space, with hangers in the wardrobe as well as lots of drawers. The bathroom was also large enough to host a party. Breakfast was very nice - varied, good spread of savoury and sweet options. The gardens around the hotel are wonderful for taking a short walk in and are well...
