Had paid approx 1800 dollars each for fullboard O treck months in advance that included a 'free' drink at every campsite. This was not mentioned at check in and Seron is the first campsite so I didn't say anything. I went back later and asked about this and they immediately said you are not 'full equipment' so no drink included without checking my details. Went back to check my ticket that confirmed full board and went back to tell them. Was told they would provide a glass of wine with our meal which I accepted. At the meal 15 minutes later there was no wine provided to anyone. Very embarrassing to keep asking for the same thing over and over again and I didn't bother. It appears other customers were treated in the same way.
The customer service is terrible considering you are paying for the 4/5 star experience. I appreciate these are remote locations but at least honour what you are charging people for. The other campsites give you a free drinks voucher to use at their bars at check in so...
Read moreMay our suffering be your blessing! The greed of this company is almost comical. At the website of Las Torres they will lie that all the regular tent spots are gone in order to make you buy a tent for 210 dollars a night - while there is actually lot's of free space. Stinky tents without any bedsheet (you can smell a bit of the sweat pf your predecessors), obviously the wifi is not included in this price nor coffee or tea, and they even asked us for a tip for using hot water for drinking! (And asked tips from another couple that asked for milk for their coffee). Avoid this place to save your wallet and your mental health. If you have the stamina you can continue to camp dickson pr you can come without a reservation and with a tent and get a normal camping slot in much...
Read moreThe worst campsite of the O trek, especially considering how close they are to civilization. This is private land, not in the National Park, where Las Torres (previously called Fantástico Sur) can do whatever they want. They charge insane prices: over US$25 just for camping in a field with your own tent. There is a plastic gazebo for cooking in, which is far too small for all the campers and shakes tremendously when the wind is bad, which in summer is the case.
The field for camping is quite big and it is clear that Las Torres is keeping the availability of simple camping artificially low, in order to force people into purchasing their extremely overpriced "premium" offerings.
It is a shame that people doing this trek are forced to deal with this...
