We had nothing booked ahead of time for our trip to Torres Del Paine. We had only found this estancia the night before and didn’t know what to expect. We were promptly greeted by very friendly staff and all of their incredibly loving animals. You get a great dose of Chilean culture. Authenticity at its finest. We highly recommend getting dinner here! Our chef, Mauricio, was so wonderful and a master at his craft. We had some of the most delicious and well priced meals in Patagonia here. We also loved our experience with, Ivan, the resident gaucho and his horses. He was a great guide on horseback and a fun person to be around. The landscapes, views, and facilities were absolutely stunning—10/10 in every way. The food was also fantastic! We enjoyed a delicious lamb dish and a wonderful breakfast. The location is also great—close to the border crossing and a charming little village where you can explore, visit tourist shops, and take a leisurely walk.
The only downside is the price. At an average of €90 per night per person, it’s quite expensive—almost double what you’d pay for a 4-star hotel in Europe. However, given the experience, I’d still return in...
