This is an excellent place to stay, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The owners are fantastic, and helped us with everything we asked and more. Despite the language barrier, we solved many problems via Google Translate (!), and they were so keen to help us out with everything. It was the extra touches that really set this place apart too, going out of their way to help us and even providing free cold alcoholic drinks when we returned from a hard day's work. We wanted to go to a museum that was pretty inaccessible, so the owner simply called up in advance and jumped in the car with us and took us there!||||The place itself is lovely - rooms very comfortable and clean, and in a very quiet location out of town. This hostel is situated in a good neighbourhood, surrounded by nature with no other houses in sight. The owners are very warm and welcoming people and are full of good information about their city. You can easily see that they are very well educated (professor at the local university) and interested in their guests. We arranged our city tour according to their suggestions and it was wonderful.||||The hostel is located aside of the main road and a small dirt road leads to the house. It is extremely difficult to find the place at night which is why the owner calls every guest upon arrival and offers her help - you might want to accept the offer because we would not have been able to find it otherwise. Service was outstanding! Real hospitality. We arrived late & still we were offered a nice herbal tea for which the owner went to get the herbs to her backyard! Then her husband sat down to answer all questions we had about the area. Very kind & informative. Room was very large & comfortable. It's off the beaten path, but they give you good directions & it's really 10 mins into town. Breakfast in the morning was abundant & fresh. Good strong coffee, a premium in Chile.
