Worst 'Grand' hotel ever!!! Each day, they can only provide 2 bottles of drinking water n u have to pay for the extra 1. 2ndly, their fridge is the room is not cold enuf. Because of that, we ask reception to freeze the ice bottle overnight for insulin purpose. 1st night we actually argued with them n the reason they gave was safety purpose. Fine, understandable. 2nd night, they did great job but 3rd night, they wrap it with cling filem and put in the fridge 🙄🙄🙄 we have been emphasized that it's for insulin purpose n they seem like just dun care!! N their gym is rather pity. People having meeting right next to this room n 1 of the lady actually came n shut the gym door because of the sound of treadmill. N BTW, the mall next to the hotel has closed down.
Add on: Apparently the gym room is not a permanent 1. They moved away all the equipment...
Read moreGreat hotel, Very nice lobby area and restaurant where we had breakfast. One receptionist and the floor manager spoke English. There is also a park across the road and supermarket around the corner (about a 10 minute walk)||There was a variety of food available for breakfast but the coffee machines...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in April as part of a tour group. The room and bed were both large but could certainly do with some extra cleaning, especially the bathroom. Fairly nice breakfast. The Air Con in our room was set to 28.5 degrees and hotel staff stated they could do nothing to change this except send a small fan to our room. Due to how hot the room was even with the window open, I spent half of each night either sitting outside or in the foyer where it was much cooler. Close to the Birds Nest and Olympic stadium, but quite a long way from the city. It was very difficult to communicate with staff and they spoke next to no English and I had next to no Chinese....
