Beijing Heyuan International Youth Hostel — Hotel in Beijing

This hostel is located down a quiet alley just out of the city centre area of Beijing. We stayed in a family room which had 2 queen size beds. The room featured an ensuite and TV. ||The communal areas were amazing. The courtyard was relaxing while the bar area played some great tunes in air-conditioning. Food and drinks available at a good price.||Washing can be done for 10 RMB. They offer a multitude of services such as currency exchange and travel bookings.||I found at nights it could be a little loud up till around 1am and the wifi sometimes not so good. That could just be for western people with a VPN.||Mao Mao is the resident corgi and he loves a pat and any attention you can give. ||The staff were friendly and helpful at all times||Would stay again...

Good service at the front desk. Rooms ok. But seriously, if you can't cook a stupid breakfast in less than one hour and make it edible, just don't put it on the menu. If you can"t make a proper coffee, (it was horribly strong, like coffee jam or something, then don't put it on the menu either) Serious attitude from the "bartender/cook", I've never been treated that badly, and I was not being impolite. If you don't want to provide a service, then don't work here you stupid. Well, too young and dumb waitress. It is a shame because there is a good location. But don't even try the food.She doesn't know how to serve a glass without pouring half of it on the bar. Then hands you the gross glass as if nothing happened. That was gross. If they fired...
