Holiday Inn Express Dujiangyan Ancient City — Hotel in Chengdu

I stayed here for two nights during a getaway from the city. The hotel itself was decent. Checkin was easy, staff was courteous, things were neat and clean. My room was a little musty, but okay. The breakfast was an average Chinese hotel breakfast, and while I wasn't traveling with my kids, noted that they did have high chairs and a small play area in the dining room (a win for parents!). The room didn't have tons of amenities, but the bed was comfy and facilities nice. For the price, I thought it a great deal. The area isn't bad either. A movie theatre is located across the street, and you are close to local and western shopping (a walmart not too far for forgotten items). If you are wanting to go to Mount Qingcheng, especially the back side, this is a bit of a drive and I would suggest something closer. But for being in Dujiangyan city, it was...

Very satisfied staying in the international brand hotel in Chengdu after staying in a few other local brand hotels as part of the group tour itinerary. The room was clean, and beds were comfortable. The location is great, walking distance to the bustling Dujianyan town center. Good and reliable toiletries (TRESemme) provided in bathroom. Great water shower pressure. Breakfast has a very good spread. More than 100 TV channels offered for watching pleasure. ||I was amazed by the use of robot for delivery of bottled drinking water and other small toiletries grooming stuffs.
