Recently visited the historic Zhong Duck Restaurant near the Dujiangyan Scenic Area, and it was a delightful experience. Their century-old culinary tradition shines through in every dish. The Sweet Skin Duck, with its secret sweet syrup glaze, was a standout - a perfect blend of sweetness and savory flavors. Signature eight treasure duck was mediocre. The outer layer was not crispy enough, and the inner fresh was overpowered by glutinous rice and gingko. The sauce was too salty. 2 stars

Roast pork was below par. Skin was not crispy, and innervfresh was too raw. The only special was a little cup filled with sour plum with gold fish deco inside. 1 star
