Jin Yuan Hotel — Hotel in Dalian City

I have stayed in this hotel on a recent business trip to Dalian. Reservation is done by office in Dalian so did not have any problem with the reservation. rooms are nicely decorated and spacious. staffs are always courteous and smiling. Even though the language is a biggest barrier, they tried to understand and try to help. Hoenstly I must appreciate that. Breakfast has good spread of varities. ||||The hotel is very close to pubs and bars, so you wil not miss the night life. The hotel has a big size pool and they have inhouse spa & massage center. Good hotel with good decoration. 2 visits in this hotels within 1 year; The room are big and price are not so excessiv. The hotel is well placed near a little street with a lot of western and chinese restaurants. For runners, there is 2km far from the hotel a good place for running in a very big park with view on the city and the town.|Hotel needs some improvment for breakfast which lack of western foods and good coffee. Sono arrivato la sera tardi in hotel e il primo contatto con il personale della reception non è stato semplice, dato che nessuno parlava inglese.||La questione si è comunque felicemente risolta, con le solite procedure, carta di credito, passaporto ecc. La stanza che mi viene assegnata ( nel business floor ) e' spaziosa; ha un bel bagno con finestra sulla camera e connessione internet gratuita ( ma lentissima). Purtroppo è poco insonorizzata e dalla strada, nonostante sia al 22mo piano,||i rumori del traffico di Dalian mi disturbano tutta la notte. IL giorno dopo chiedo di cambiare stanza (aiutato da un collega cinese ) e me ne viene gentilmente assegnata un'altra che non da' sulla strada, ancora piu' grande e molto piu'silenziosa. La colazione viene servita nel grande ||" soppalco" che da sulla hall, sempre affollata e con un grande buffett, con menu' piu' vicino alle esigenze di una clientela orientale. L'hotel dispone di 2 ristoranti ( cinese e giapponese) che non ho provato. Ho cenato sempre in un ristorante nella zona pedonale di fronte all'albergo ( con bar e ristoranti ) , che proponeva cucina occidentale ( italiana !!), di buona qualita', prezzi ragionevoli e personale molto gentile ( purtroppo non ricordo il nome...).
