The hotel is elegant with great amenities and upscale decor. However, the hallways were filled with a noticeable cigarette smell. Additionally, I had an unpleasant experience at the swimming club, where wearing a swim cap was mandatory. I asked the staff to charge the cap to my room, but was later informed that their payment system was down and I needed to pay immediately. Two bottles of still water are provided daily. Bathroom tap water is not drinkable. Breakfast is in a large restaurant with many local and western cuisines catered for. Something sorely lacking is the availability of plain cold water. Bizarrely, be prepared to hear Christmas carols blaring out if the restaurant speakers at any time...

The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to keep our rooms close together, which meant a lot to us.
