Guangzhou Planet Hotel — Hotel in Guangzhou City

Hotel with a unique concept. It's just not my taste design.||||For cleanliness, I give it 4 stars compared to other hotels operated by local operators. The room is quite clean, comfortable, and roomy. The bathroom is equipped with a full body shower.||||The staff there are not all speak English. But overall they were relatively friendly.||||The location of this hotel is located in the central area of ​​wholesale fashion and leather products. The hotel is suitable for those who are looking for a place to sleep for a business that is close to that location. In the area are also very much a freight forwarder and a retail shop. For those of you who like to try local food, there are a number of local food stalls at a price that is very friendly to the pocket. Near the hotel there is also a beautiful garden, only takes 7-10 minutes by foot.||||I stayed at this hotel during the Canton Fair. As a regular tradition in Guangzhou, hotel prices increased significantly. However, they provide facilities free shuttle bus round trip to the site of the Canton Fair. When pick-up later in the day, the hotel staff share a snack and a bottle of drinking water to the hotel guest visitors of the exhibition. The service is...

I stayed 6 nights, starting from 20th February 2025. The first 4 nights went well, the weather was generally the same , around 14 to 20 degree celsius. But somehow, the management switched their centralised air conditioning settings to "Warm" by default. There is an option in the remote control in the room to change it to cool, but that doesnt work at all. I complained the front desk a few times, but they only gave a fixes answer, "switch the ac off and open the window to get the cool air in". I mean thats the first time ever i have heard of something like this and i just cant keep the window open whole night. I know how central ac works and they could easily do it, but no.all i was given was a floor fan unit which was just ok and my room was hot the last 2 full nights of my stay, between 28 to 30 degree celsius. Thats not done. This is the only major thing i was bummed about,while the front desk, the door guys, housekeeing people, the people working in the breakfast hall, everybody wonderful, courteous and genuinely helped when needed. If it werent for the ac system rule, i'd definitely give 10/10, but coz of this one problem, it ruined my 2 nights and left me...

If i have to give a score to this hotel i would give it between 95-100. The room in this hotel is unique according to its concept. Ao when you enter the room you will see the bed with very different design. I am really falling in love with the room design. The front desk and concierge is also really helpful and friendly to the guests. Since i stayed there during the canton fair, the hotel also provide the bus to drop us and pick up the guests during the evening. Guess what? The hotel event provides each guest a sandwich on the way back to the way back to hotel. So no wonder this hotel has really good occupancy during canton fair. ||For the breakfast, nothing to worry. They provides us a lot of selections. Local breakfast such as porridge is available also. Breads, fruits, potatoes, all are fresh and nicely cut||Happy to be here. I will definately be back and stay at this hotel again next time....
