Sheraton Guangzhou Nansha Hotel — Hotel in Guangzhou City

Being a very loyal customer to Sheraton Guangzhou Nansha, I have stayed over 150 times since the opening 2 years ago. I have seen many changes at this hotel and especially after the director came in place maybe 1 year ago. This is the only international 5-star hotel in Nansha district, you can immediately differentiate from the management and facility in many details. In the beginning period, many staff did not attend to service with confidence, it happened many times at embarrassing moments. Now, you can see well-trained staff that are spontaneous and hard-working to make every guest including me to have a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. If the food choices at the Japanese Restaurant can be expanded and the wine list can also be upgraded to make the dining experience better, it will be a good add-on to my excellent stay in Sheraton Nansha.
Very lastly to address the Marriott Bonvoy club, the view at this club is superb and a good panorama view allows you to see the best part of Guangzhou Nansha night view! The food/drink served is very much depending on your preference. I found myself feeling like my home kitchen at the club. All staff including Rachel are very nice and worked hard to make everyone happy. Overall, Marriott Bonvoy is still the best club comparing to other equivalent clubs. Happy Birthday to...

From check in at the front desk every person went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Sam Xu, the the Front Office Manager, personally met us daily with a warm greeting and was extremely willing to accommodate our needs. He greeted us, by our names, each day and made sure everything was acceptable and worked with his staff to to exceed all expectations. We met Eleven, the Food & Beverage Manager, and she not only was friendly, but went out of her way to be sure our experience was excellent, while we dined in the restaurants. In travelling to China for over 25 years, I must truly say, the staff and this hotel far exceeded any other travel in the past. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels, and this hotel deserves 6 stars! The food in the restaurants was excellent, the rooms were very comfortable, and for a China hotel, the staff spoke and understood English. As a seasoned traveler, it was a pleasure to meet this staff and make new friends with them, and we will be sure to return here for all our future trips to China. This hotel is conveniently located roughly 10-minute walking from Jinzhou metro station. I've stayed here twice in January and February 2018, being upgraded once to a suite, and once to a club room. Both were located at the corner with great view. The facilities were really new as expected. All staff members I've interacted with, from concierges, receptionists, to restaurant and lounge associates, were all friendly and helpful. In particular, the lounge staff did a great job to maintain excellent service during the extremely busy happy hour. I did like the food offered during happy hour, probably the best among all Sheraton hotels I've ever visited.

There was a small issue during the second stay though. I chose this hotel as the place to spend my birthday thanks to the wonderful experiences previous time. During check-in, I was informed that a birthday cake would be delivered to my room at 7 p.m. This never happened though. I wouldn't complain as the cake wasn't something that I actually paid for.
