Fubang International Hotel — Hotel in Hangzhou City

The service and the restaurant were great, the location is ideal as it is directly across the road from a shopping complex providing access to various food outlets and shops.

Unfortunately our mattress was upside down (springs facing up) and most of the power points in the room did not work. The room itself is nice and has everything you need with all amenities provided. We were staying on the 12th floor and the smell of cigarette smoke was quite bad in the bedrooms, assumably coming in through the air conditioner.

We stayed 2 nights at the Fubang hotel. The lobby is lovely, the rooms are dated and a bit tired, though the beds were great. Highlight for us was the massage centre and spa on its own level. Dark and cool and modern tiled, we were led to one of the many spacious private rooms where my friend and I got our massages, 179 Y for 70 mins, with tea and food served as well. A pretty modern Hotel but made the unforgiveable mistake, NO Fridge!!! Can't stand Hotels that don't supply one and then try to charge like a wounded bull at their bar. The room was very big and comfortable but the strangest part was that the bathroom is exposed to the the rest of the room with a huge glass window! Talk about a sharing & close experience!! Luckily found the blind control and a modicum of dignity was preserved. It had a very good breakfast and finally coffee pots with reasonable coffee to start the day. Get a fridge in the rooms and go...
