Renaissance Hangzhou Northeast Hotel — Hotel in Hangzhou City

I ordered a twins room because there was a meeting hold there; all the kings bed room were booked.So the room rate was not cheap as well. I called the hotel asking them for changing a single bed if anyone cancelled the booking. Finally I got updated to a King bed Suite with great space.....lol The location is not bad actually. If I had some business in Hangzhou I'd book this hotel for it competitive price compared to the rate in the city centre. It's pretty easy to take a high speed train to anywhere in Zhejiang or Shanghai province, especially to central Hangzhou. 10mins train plus 5mins taxi to train station, adding 15mins underground from Hangzhou East train station to central Hangzhou.Let alone Yuhang is developing as a satellite city of Hangzhou. Builded in last year, nearly the same time as Renaissance Xi'an, both hotels are decorated with beautiful accessories. I was heard this Renaissance was built for the W brand..No matter it's just a rumor or not, the decoration is wonderful. As I mentioned before, there was a meeting there at the time, I heard a foreigner commented' this hotel decoration is strange but I have to say its great' Yep, this hotel is not a stereotyped business hotel, I would say its more leisure personally. It's worth to say that sometimes I got connected the wifi with full signal, but the data didn't come in,That's why I rated 9 for the internet. this didn't happened all the time but one time or twice during the stay. There are many types of wine in the lounge which I liked. I truly love the sparking white wine. The lounge is not crowded and can enjoy the nice happy hour in a relax atmosphere. The lounge manager Miss Somi is very kind and helpful, contact me before arriving and upgrade my room to higher floor with good Mountain View, set the bath amenities as needed. And provide an exquisite set of welcome amenity. |The room is just like the public area, mix the Chinese traditional and modern elements together. Steady and also energetic. There are Renaissance bears at the top of the cupboard and Jarre AeroBull on the bedside table. The sofa near the window has good size and can accept an adult to sleep there. Since the hotel is just opened in 2018, everything are new and functioning well. |The price of the hotel is very attractive, usually it will has lower rate than the Courtyard of HangZhou.
