Lake Valley — Hotel in Hong Kong

Absolutely lovely weekend at Lake Valley. Took us an hour to drive from the south side of HK island and it’s right next to the China border. The place was very pretty and relaxing. Everything looks clean and new. Although it was quite crowded, it didn’t feel too noisy or cramped.

We chose the cabins as we wanted our own en-suite bathrooms. The cabins exceeded our expectations. Very roomy and the little deck was so lovely. Furniture is basic but comfortable. Love the camping chairs and table that could be used either inside or on the deck.

There is a free hot plate offered, but we paid for a barbecue that came with charcoal and tongs, and it was an experience starting the fire ourselves with the charcoal (haven’t done it for many years). We brought our own food and there are refrigerators in the common areas where you can store your food. There was a kettle and some basic cutlery but we brought our own disposable plates and cutlery. There are sinks with dishwashing detergent peppered all over the campsite.

The en-suite bathroom was very welcomed. Only issue is there’s no separation between the shower area and the main bathroom, so when you shower, everything gets wet. The shared common bathrooms looked extremely clean and there were plenty throughout the campsite.

The grounds are lovely and our dog had a great time sniffing and doing little walks. It was nice to see so many dogs...

Couldn't attend an event because my daughter got ill asked the organizer Jason at the Ukulele Store to see if we could get a refund and said no because they had already paid the camp site. I contacted Lake Valley to see if they would be so kind as to refund us given the situation, however it seems that neither the organizer or the venue are to keen on cooperating or being...

九月尾的星期六去了兩日一夜 客人只剩我們一組 交通建議坐完地鐵搭59k小巴去,只有半小時一班 一落車就已經係 近門口仲有打籃球 接待處有人帶我哋去房 簡單介紹燈掣同埋設備 之後嘅時間都好自由 甚少見到工作人員 只有在除草或維修的 感覺只有我們 見到有羊同埋烏龜 馬就睇唔到😂 落雨周圍都有水氹 建議着拖鞋同埋帶多啲襪 帳篷只有拉鍊作門口 容易有昆蟲入去 尤其廁所 (有時候覺得有啲遠 有容易啲行嘅路會好啲) 石樓梯級房前面嘅平台容易有昆蟲屍體吸引螞蟻 有多啲用具驅蚊及昆蟲會更好 夜晚嘗試熄燈嘅時候唔成功聯絡咗職員幫手，不過佢話負責嗰個瞓咗覺將我哋安排隔籬嗰間房 冷氣舒適可調校 地方大致乾淨 不過 提供的拖鞋及枕頭套都有點污糟同埋發黃 沖完涼有少少鞋 不過星空房頭頂嘅透明位太污糟 睇唔到天空🥲🥲🥲 燒烤設備齊全，有火槍同埋鉗 餐具同埋露營碗 不過燒烤網有啲污糟 建議任何用具用之前清洗一次 (租借火爐及炭需付$150 建議帶備現金) 有洗手盆,洗潔精 海綿 雪櫃都可以用 不過沒有提供任何食物或飲料購買，要自行帶食物同埋嘢飲 尤其係水 同埋收拾好 走嘅時候可以接待處問吓人小巴大概仲有幾耐 嗰個位比較難叫Uber ,...
