惠东双月湾享海温泉度假酒店 — Hotel in Huizhou

The hotel inside is much older than on the pictures but it was fine. When we booked in, we were given a different room than what we requested and paid for, but after assistance from the online staff at trip. com it was rectified.Two major concerns were the lack of variety in restaurants and the facts that there are only two elevators for a fully booked hotel of 32 floors... We had to wait very, very long every time we wanted to go up or down for the elevator to reach us, and even then could often not use it because it was too full.The only western restaurant (Loop) about 750m from the hotel offered very expensive drinks and was open only from 12:00. Also, some days we could only order salad there.. 🤔When we had a parcel sent to us at the hotel, it was for some obscure reason (couriers are not allowed to deliver there..?!), sent to a store 3km from the hotel, and we had to pay 90RMB for someone from the hotel to fetch it there.. 🤔🙄The last thing that was strange, was the advertisement inside the hotel for a western restaurant, but it was nowhere to be found. Signs pointed in the direction of the basement in Building 1 but we could not find it anywhere, and when we asked around, people were just shaking their heads..Fireworks up to 1am...😜All along the beach.....

The expectations and reality…1. The name of the hotel is different: when I arrived, I couldn’t understand where is my hotel. Instead of “Twin Moon Bay Xianghai Hot Spring Holiday Hotel” I have got “ Enjoy the sea hotel”2. Extremely old and dirty. The dust and rust are literally everywhere. According to the pics on the website I even couldn’t imagine that hotel could be that old.3. Shower… the shower had only extremely hot water, no cold water at all. I let the reception workers know about it but problem has not been fixed. + bathroom door didn’t work. And if to close the drain in the bathtub, it will be impossible to open back. 4. It was a problem to simply close the main door, I needed to open and close it tons of time, so finally the door could be locked. 5. I was dreaming about the SPA, but when I saw it on the second floor, I was so shocked and simply run away… everything was covered by rust. Plus extremely high prices. 60 mins of body massage for 1080 rmb? No, thank you. I am not surprised why it was empty.6. The hotel and the beach supposed to be pets free but a big dog was taking a ** right on the beach.For such a big price per night, service should be better…Thank you for...

It's definitely not a 5* hotel, so don't expect much. The view is beautiful and breakfasts are more than decent. However, it's pretty much impossible to sleep because of the fireworks that literally never stop. You'd expect people to get tired and go to bed after midnight but no, the only quiet time is between 5am and morning. Well, if you wake up early, then never really. Also, it's the dirtiest beach I've ever seen in my life. So if you are looking for a good swim, look elsewhere. We were lucky to enter the water once during our 5-day stay. It's filthy, like you are swimming in...
