Pullman Nanchang Wanda — Hotel in Nanchang

My goodness... where to begin?!||||(I apologize that this is long, but there is SO much good to say about this hotel)||||My boyfriend and I traveled to Nanchang with his father. We had visited Nanchang previously, but had stayed closer to the city center.||||This was a successful family vacation, but my boyfriend were also able to enjoy some time as a couple. I can say with all confidence that this hotel is great for both family travel and for couples looking to spend quality time together. I am also confident that a single traveler would enjoy their stay -- so much so that I plan to "escape" to this hotel solo in the near future.||||This hotel was absolutely fantastic in every way. Let's talk customer service.||Jumping jellybeans! The customer service and hospitality is out of this world. We were greeted and welcomed by Kelly and her team. Everything was taken care of; any questions we had were answered. We not only felt welcomed, but also valued. This did not only last during the "check-in". Throughout the entire stay, we were greeted with smiles anytime we walked past the lobby. The bartender and staff at the lobby bar were very friendly and helped us make decisions.||||Location. This hotel is the perfect distance away from the city center. Nanchang is a beautiful, beautiful city, and I do recommend spending time in the hustle and bustle of it all. This hotel allows you to do that, and to return "home" to a quiet space to recharge. It takes about 30-40 minutes to the city center, and the subway stop is next to the hotel entrance (maybe a 3 minute walk). This subway stop is also SO simple. It is easily the most simple stop I've ever seen. Also, since it is a little bit away from the city center, there is a high chance that you will be able to get a seat on the subway. The ride into the city center is very simple. All the while, you have a beautiful neighbourhood to call home. It truly does feel like a resort-type of location.||||Fun things: ||The hotel has bikes that you can rent. We did the tandem bike. The backyard of the hotel is GORGEOUS and makes for both a great early-morning bike ride as well as a beautiful night-time walk with your beau, your family, or yourself.||||There are chickens and bunnies in the backyard, as well. They are in a cage but are very friendly. ||||The lobby is gorgeous, and the drinks and food are NOT ridiculously overpriced. You may sit inside (gorgeous), or go outdoors (also gorgeous). The lobby will also welcome you in the morning for some alone-time, reading, coffee, or tea.||||The breakfast is out of this world. From pastries, to eggs and bacon, to noodles, to fresh juices. ||||If you are considering booking this hotel, be assured that you can book with confidence. The customer service truly, truly, was magnificent. You can enjoy a part of Nanchang that you likely wouldn't visit if you were to stay in the city center (and trust me, it is a BEAUTIFUL part of Nanchang). You are a subway ride into the city center. Locates opposite to Wanda mall, few minutes to the train station and cab fee around RMB30.||||Love the interior and their lobby. Staff was kind. My room was nice with a view but late at night it was too difficult to sleep as it seems there was a karaoke bar down below.||||Breakfast started from 6:30 and there were many choices but mostly for Chinese customers like dim sum, dumplings and noodles. Croissant and danish were a bit stale but they did have brewed coffee. Funny thing was they didn't have cheese! (or maybe it was too early and the waiter didn't have a clue, either. Were a frequent guest of your hotel groups, we like the room and staff are very friendly, but we all got disappointed when we got there last week before we leave that night and have dinner..Music is good,but your entertainer is not really paying attention to some guest,,seems like she's talking or using mobile phone while working? Do you allow your employees like this? This is something new....well to make the story short.its our bosses birthday that night,,we ask them if she could sing a HBD song..we done our dinner almost goin to pay the bill and thats the time she remembered to sing. Too busy of using "mobile phone while working"..very disappointed.....maybe you could do something...
