Ramada Jiaxing — Hotel in Nanhu District

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights to check out a new job in the city. ||The location is a little away from things but that's normal and only a quick taxi to everywhere we needed to go. ||Booking in was quick and easy, which in the current situation is a surprise as a foreigner travelling away from his/her normal city of residence. The room was superb, king size bed, central heating that works with a quick touch of a button, huge bathroom and the best bit.......a bath. It has been many years since I had a good soak after a day out wandering with my camera.||I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast, usually it is a few bits of bread and jam for westerners plus a huge range of Chinese food for the locals. This is understandable given a hotel is in fact, in China. I found they had bacon, fried eggs and baked beans as well as fresh baked bread. Plenty of coffee, orange and grape juice.||We did not eat in the hotel other than breakfast so can't comment on the restaurant meals. In the evenings we walked around the corner to a wonderful pulled noddle shop and ate there.||I would happily stay in this hotel again, it is high end and not cheap although I feel it would be worth it for the extra luxury you get over regular business...

If you are not Chinese speaking, very difficult to communicate.|March was cold so the hotel was controlling the heat centrally at 24 degrees Celsius; 75.2 F. Which is not comfortable to sleep. Rooms have individual thermostats but do not work. If you turn it on the the room overheats to 29 plus Celsius!|Has a restaurant called Ruby Western; nothing western about it. It is a buffet restaurant. A lot of the dishes in the warming tray are cold - both at breakfast and dinner. And if you do not speak Chinese no one understands you. |No other amenities in...

I been here from 4th March 2018 to 6th March 2018. I reached here by taxi from Shanghai for which I paid almost 450 RMB. This Hotel is little away from the city. I tried to walk around but could not find any shopping mall or good place nearby. However People interested for sight seeing may visit moon river. It is an old village rebuilt for tourists.
