Dibai 7 Star Hotel — Hotel in Nanning

This is the Dibai 7 star hotel. 7 star is in the name but not the service or quality.I must admit I went to see what ridiculous ott Chinese Louis XlV baroque would look like, and it looks tired and flaky. More to the point if your Mandarin or Cantonese is not excellent avoid at all costs, the staff speak very little English, the menu is in Chinese and after roughing it in Vietnam for a few weeks I was looking forward to the advertised European breakfast. Not available - despite the menu being enticingly obvious in the room. The hot water in the shower took about 29minutes to show up and then there was no thermostat on the shower so the temperature varied alarmingly. Particularly regarding the hotel’s facilities and cleanliness.Several issues that affected my comfort:Cleanliness: The cleanliness of my room and certain common areas was below acceptable standards.
