Marco Polo could perfectly be a 5 star hotel, it is actually better than many 5 stars in Europe. The lobby is welcoming, staff is friendly although you'll need to find English speakers. I was upgraded to a VIP continental room and it was mind blowing. The room was about 50 square meters with a large TV that could be hidden with a remote control, automatic curtains, a nice working area and all the amenities you could think. Bathroom is also massive, with a large rounded bathtub facing another TV, large shower and separate WC with a bidet. The continental customers can use the lounge on the 11th floor for business, lunch, dinner or breakfast, although the choice is more reduced than in the main restaurant. Marco Polo café has a large variety and good quality. Location is fine, with many restaurants nearby, and some 15-20 minutes walking from the Traditional Blocks, which is a must see in Jinjiang.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a few nights and overall had a good experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the basic amenities were all in place. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby business places and restaurants.||||That said, there were a few small issues that kept the experience from being excellent. The room could use a bit of updating, especially the bathroom fixtures. Also, while breakfast was included, the HALAL options were a bit limited. ||||Despite these minor points, I would still consider staying here again. It’s a solid choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience without...
