Grand Metro Park Bay Hotel Sanya — Hotel in Sanya City

We stay seven nights in this hotel. There are many positive and negative experience during our stay.🤔First, hotel is not in seaside don't thing it's near to the beach. You need drive for short time to reach xiadong hai or dadongha beaches and they don't provide shuttle.😲 Hotel view is marina and Sanya city center. They have nice bathtub on balcony. Outdoor pool is little hard to reach but ok. You need to go first floor from second floor loby and take stairs 3 floors up to pool. Biggest problem is, they close the pool so early, 5 pm. And how come they don't supply towels or other stuff on pool site. Normally other metropark hotels provide. They don't even play music or sell some drinks around pool. Second, breakfast variety is good as expected from Metropark hotel chain but it so crowded and there's no enough staff to maintance the open buffet, most times hard to find place to sit and you need to go other saloon where is little away and has just 20 percent of the real buffet and the saloon smells bad air.. Many times, hard to find milk, cups even forks. But there are olives 💛. You can also try their package dinner for two people it was delicious.Thirdly, when we booked seven days the hotel price was reasonable later it get more than double, they did not add two more days with same price we book-in. That was little rude. Front desk was saying, why don't you rent another hotel. So yeah they simply don't want you to stay.👎And, some days we need to ask to tidy up or room otherwise they will not do it. Many times we call housekeeping to provide use clean towels and tidy up the room.👎Now let's talk about the most critical side. Hotel is near the clubhouse and night there are some luxury cars horn all the night. You can't sleep while balcony doors are open since 2 am. Those cars horn all night to show up themselves. So if you want little peace don't rent this hotel.,👎Overall, I can't say the hotel experience is not🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫 worth it's price. I would like to give more than 2 thumbs for this place and the staff there. I highly recomend this HOTEL where me and my family we felt more than pampered and any request was honoured asap. We traveled with a 1 year old baby and the feeding was a bit funny because she doesn't eat anything. Breakfast was provided by the hotel || and also we could find a huge variety of food, international and asian. They provide us with ingriedients that we put them to cook in the rice pot which we brought from home. For Christmas and New Year Eve they organised 3 hours dinner buffet where we were able to find anything that we wished for ( 30 meters line of international dishes) and also dance show. The kids were amazed (not only them).The hotel has a electric car that takes you every 10 minutes until 7 pm, to the main road and there you can find a market and also it's a 5 minutes walk to the beach. Mr. Jakie Chen the manager will do everything in his power to make you feel confortable and Mr. Wayne will take a proper care of almost all your needs( i don't know ALL your needs).||They have also a kids room under the dinning hall for the not so sunny days. During my recent stay at a hotel booked through Trip.com, I encountered several issues that left me dissatisfied. Firstly, despite specifically booking a non-smoking room, the hotel had a noticeable smell of smoke throughout, indicating a failure to properly enforce non-smoking policies.
