Sanya Bay Guest House — Hotel in Sanya City

The hotel is nicely decorated and looks new & well taken care of. Alhough I think they could add air conditioning to some of the hallways. Rooms are clean and spacious, though ours said "sea view", the balcony had a wall that prevented us from enjoying it while sitting. You have to stand and look over to get a glimpse of the bay. The breakfast menu had some Western choices, but it's mostly Chinese. Lunch and dinner mostly Chinese, BUT the quality of the food was good, while prices are very affordable. I also appreciate that I didn't have to pay meals for my two daughters. The swimming pool is definitely the biggest feature of this place. With lots of shades, and the kids section very convenient for the children to play. They have floaters but you have to pay to rent them. Towels are free to use. One setback is the "beach"/bay in front of it, it's not for swimming. So if you're looking for a beach and all water sports to have a good time, this hotel is...

This is a great place to relax. Of the indisputable advantages: close proximity to the airport, quiet cozy atmosphere, pleasant interior, qualified and caring staff. Gorgeous beach and ocean. Very nice views and atmosphere. There are entertainment facilities within 5 km. The environment inside the hotel is very friendly and relaxing. The hotel manager fulfilled all our requests, helped us a lot. We especially want to thank the staff for their help and care and patience during the quarantine. The hotel is ideal for budget travelers! The pictures are a true reflection of the place, which is fantastic. The hygiene is good, which is very important. The staff is accommodating, although I did encounter a single unpleasant situation.I asked if I could upgrade my room and how much it would cost me. The man, who could speak English, answered, “Very expensive,” without telling me the actual price. I asked again, and he said, “It’s 1500 per night”. I couldn’t believe that and looked at the exact cost of booking a new room. It was 1000. I came back and asked him again, saying that it could not be that an upgrade was more expensive than booking a new room. He changed his answer, saying, “It’s 700”.
